Education is beyond imparting syllabi, examinations and a structured day role. It is a responsibility where exchange of knowledge, ethics, values and character defines the future of a nation. Innovation and technology has been brought forward as a parallel education system but the majority of our students have to go through regular school system which requires change through empowering and respecting teachers.
Post retirement as a college professor, I continued to feel that my job was not complete. There is more I could do for teachers and administrators to full the gaps which can drastically improve the culture for teachers to impart education professionally to a diverse student population. After interviewing hundreds of teachers across the United States, I founded Anchored 2 Teach LLC in the state of Alabama, my home town.
My mission was clear, to create an eco-system wherein my firm brings a sustainable change in the school system where teachers are respected, motivated and professionally empowered which is then followed by training the teachers to become consultants and carry the mission forward to other schools as consultants wherein they can earn an additional income with a purpose to bring a national change in the United States. It’s a movement which brings efficiency in the school systems through cultural and structural change where teachers take pride in both teaching and consulting.
